We were school friends. Then married and had our families. You were my bridesmaid. I then watched you marry David and once came to stay at your lovely home while he was away working. We lived far apart and contact became Christmas cards only until we, sadly, eventually lost touch as decades went by.
You have passed too young. I will never forget you. May you rest in peace, dear Julia. xxx

I share a love of photography with Julia. I know that there are many people out there who admire Julia's work and find her photographs so inspiring. I would like to share a little message that she wrote to me a few months ago:
'Thank you so much with your kind words about my work! It is not easy having to turn down work, especially when it is something I so enjoy and I get so much pleasure from.
Do keep up your photography it is so therapeutic, at least I have found it to be. I am completely lost with my camera, forgetting about the horrors of what I face, it makes me smile inside and out!
Best wishes, Julia
For all those photography enthusiasts - I think Julia would have wanted me to share this message as an encouragement to you all. xxx
